NEW VUDU XL TARGETS HOME THEATER AUDIENCE

With One Terabyte of Storage, VUDU XL Delivers the Ultimate In-Home Viewing Experience for Movie Collectors

Consumer Electronics Show 2008 - January 6, 2008 -- VUDU Inc., the company that brings instant access to video-entertainment to the living room, today announced at CES the launch of VUDU XL, a brand new high-end version of the already successful VUDU box, designed for integration into high-end home theaters.

Since its release earlier this fall, the VUDU box has quickly won a strong following among those seeking instant access to high quality home video entertainment. VUDU XL takes this one step further by providing storage to accommodate more than 500 standard definition movies plus advanced controls for integration with networked home theaters and IR-based universal remotes. For the home theater enthusiast, VUDU XL takes full advantage of the best available high definition displays, surround sound, and other home theater investments while eliminating the clutter associated with storing large video libraries.

"As a company founded by movie lovers, for movie lovers, VUDU is dedicated to raising the bar for the home viewing experience," said Patrick Cosson, VP of Marketing, VUDU. "VUDU XL, the perfect movie vault, is designed to provide the most flexible solution for home theater enthusiasts and deliver the content consumers want, instantly and in high quality."

Starting this February, VUDU XL will be distributed through high-end audio video retailers, custom installers and resellers focused on custom home theaters and will retail for $999.
